A woman looking up through the open slit of an observatory dome, in a black funnel-neck sweater whose yoke is knitted in concentric rings and radiating ribs.

18:45, the observatory

Slice the space round a black hole through its equator, at one instant, and draw it as a surface: Ludwig Flamm did, in 1916. It is not a pit that things roll into. It shows that near the horizon there is more distance than the circumference suggests, and at the horizon itself the surface stands vertical.

Flamm Funnel Neck

CHF 320 working price

For dusk under the dome: a collar that stands without folding, and cuffs that turn back clean.

A black funnel neck that is, for once, a funnel. The yoke is knitted in rings and ribs, tone on tone: the space round a black hole, drawn as a surface. You see it when the light comes from the side.
